On June 26, 2021, VolP-Pal filed a new lawsuit against Apple, Inc., claiming that Apple’s iMessage and FaceTime communication platforms infringe upon two of its patents entitled “Mobile Gateway,” which “detail[s] a method of initiating phone calls by transmitting various codes between a caller and callee.”
VolP-Pal claims that Apple’s “Calling System” uses VoIP-Pal technology that generates various access codes to assist with calling functionality.
