Update: VidAngel to Pay $62.4 Million to Settle Disney Copyright Infringement Case

    On June 17, 2019, a jury in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California awarded several Hollywood studios, led by Walt Disney Co. and Warner Bros., $62.4 million for copyright infringement.

    The software infringement lawsuit began in June 2016, after the plaintiffs alleged VidAngel’s streaming service allowed users to stream movies without a license.
