U.S. Department of Energy Issues New Cybersecurity Plan

    On April 20, 2021, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released an order in which the DOE revoked its December 2020 “Prohibition Order Securing Critical Defense Facilities.”

    Additionally, the DOE issued a Request for Information (RFI) concerning “the supply chain security of the of the U.S. electricity subsector,” and ways the U.S. electric system can better protect against cybersecurity threats.
