The University of Colorado Boulder Experiences Data Breach

    On October 25, 2021, the University of Colorado Boulder notified 30,000 individuals that their personal information might be at risk due to a data breach that occurred in September.

    The majority of people affected were former CU students and employees, but some current staff and students were affected. A third-party software caused the breach by having a vulnerability in their system that a hacker took advantage of.
