On May 7, 2021, Swedish networking and telecommunications company Ericsson and Samsung reached a settlement agreement, ending several multi-national patent infringement lawsuits between the two companies.
The patents in dispute relate to 5G cellular technologies, and the cross-license agreement will cover “sales of network infrastructure and handsets from January 1, 2021.”
