On February 25, 2020, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) released its annual “Privacy and Data Security Update” for 2019, which discusses the investigations and consumer privacy enforcement actions that took place over the past year.
The update highlights large data breach and data privacy dispute settlements involving companies such as Facebook, Google, YouTube, and Equifax.
