On August 30, 2021, the largest independent physician group in Illinois, DuPage Medical Group, announced that they experienced a data breach on July 12 and 13, that put nearly 600 thousand patients’ personal identifiable information (PII) at risk of exposure.
The breached personal data includes patient Social Security numbers, dates of birth, names, and addresses.
