In June 2019, the Consortium for Information and Software Quality (CISQ) released a report detailing software source code quality weaknesses that impact the reliability, security, efficiency, and maintainability of source code.
Weaknesses addressed in the report include algorithmic complexities, use of incorrect operators, dead code, and use of redundant code, among others.
