California State AG Announces Approval of Final California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Regulations

    On August 14, 2020, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced approval of the final regulations of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) by the Office of Administrative Law (OAL), which are effective immediately.

    The final regulations take into consideration feedback from multiple public forums and over 1,000 public comments that were submitted after the CCPA went into effect on January 1, 2020.
