On May 5, 2021, bus and truck vision safety manufacturer Rosco, Inc. and video surveillance company Safety Vision, LLC reached a settlement agreement in the patent infringement matter of Rosco Inc. v. Safety Vision, LLC et. al, held in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Rosco’s “MOR-Vision Mirror/Monitor Combo Backup Camera System” patented technology in dispute relate to specific glass and camera monitor components used for bus and truck operational safety measures. The defendants have agreed to license the plaintiff’s patented camera system, and in turn, Rosco has dismissed the case.
