Video Game Company EA Hit with Source Code Ransomware Attack

    On June 10, 2021, hackers stole nearly 780 gigabytes worth of source code from video game company Electronic Arts (EA), and have threatened to sell the stolen source code online unless EA pays the hacker group a ransom.

    EA announced that none of the stolen data included personal user information, and that the breach will not affect future projects’ devolvement.
