U.S. Lawmakers Pass Bill Requiring Disclosure of Source Code Inspections by Foreign Governments

    On August 1, 2018, U.S lawmakers enacted a bill requiring companies which sell software to the U.S. military to report whether the software was inspected by certain foreign governments.

    The “disclosure mandate” aims to eliminate security gaps in the federal acquisition process.
