Recently, non-profit organization Software Freedom Conservancy filed a lawsuit against TV vendor Vizio for disregarding the General Public License (GPL).
The SFC claims that Vizio is using code that they don’t have permission to use. Vizio has not complied with the SFC and stopped responding to their inquiries in January of 2020.
