On July 11, 2019, Premera Blue Cross agreed to pay $5.4 million to the Washington State Attorney General’s Office and $4.6 million to 29 states that joined Attorney General Bob Ferguson’s litigation concerning a data breach that affected more than 10.4 million patients.
