NIST Publishes New Big Data Interoperability Framework

    On October 31, 2019, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) released the Big Data Interoperability Framework containing specifications to help developers deploy software tools capable of analyzing large data sets.

    The NIST framework allows data scientists to scale and transition data from one platform to another and offers “guidance on the data security and privacy protections that tools should have.”
