On July 22, 2021, mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Mint Mobile announced that they had experienced a data breach between June 8, 2021 and June 10, 2021, in which hackers accessed subscribers’ account information, including emails, passwords, addresses, and call history.
The source of the data breach has not been identified, but Mint Mobile stated that “potential initial entry points include a compromised user account or a customer management application.”
