On March 21, 2022, IBM filed a patent infringement lawsuit against LzLabs for infringing and stealing their intellectual property.
IBM claims that LzLabs uses their intellectual property from IBM’s mainframe to improve their emulation and translation efficiency. IBM also believes that LzLabs purposefully misappropriated IBM’s trade secrets through reverse engineering.
