Google Agrees to $7.5 Million Settlement Over Google+ Data Breach

    On January 6, 2020, Google, Inc. agreed to a $7.5 million settlement in a class action data breach lawsuit affecting Google+ users.

    The case began in October 2018, after Google announced that a system glitch allowed third-party developers to access the personal information of Google+ users between January 2015 and March 2018.
