On August 10, 2021, fintech solutions company Pines Lab allegedly experienced a massive data breach, compromising around 500,000 records, including confidential client agreements, employee data, and financial reports by BlackMatter Ransomware Group.
Cyble Research Labs announced the data breach on their website on August 11, 2021; however, Pine Labs has denied the claims and states they are “one of the most secure and compliant PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) platforms.”
