DOJ Settles First Civil Cyber-Fraud Initiative Case

    Recently, Comprehensive Health Services (CHS) settled with the Department of Justice, agreeing to a $930,000 settlement, resolving False Claim allegations, and being the first settlement for the DOJ since the Civil Cyber-Fraud Initiative.

    The case claimed that CHS poorly represented the State Department and Air Force’s electronic medical record (EMR) standards by not storing patient records securely.
