On September 17, 2018, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) upheld a summary judgment of noninfringement in favor of defendant AT&T in its dispute with plaintiff Advanced Media Networks LLC.
The case began in 2015, when Advanced Media Networks (AMN) alleged that several AT&T smartphones and devices infringed a patent related to a product that connects a wireless network to a microwave communication system.
