T-Mobile Data Breach Exposes PII of Nearly 40 Million Individuals

    On August 17, 2021, T-Mobile announced the cellular company experienced a massive data breach that put nearly 40 million customers’ information at risk of exposure.

    T-Mobile confirmed that no financial information was compromised in the breach, but personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, birthdays, and Social Security numbers were stolen. Additionally, T-Mobile announced it will offer two years of free credit monitoring to those impacted by the breach.
